Cuberg hires 200th employee

Cuberg, a fully owned subsidiary of Northvolt, now has a team of two hundred people (and counting). At the time that Northvolt acquired the California-based company in 2021, there were twenty-five employees, which means that Cuberg’s head count has increased by 8X in two years.

Today, Cuberg is growing rapidly in order to meet demand from multi-million dollar customer programs. Cuberg battery technology is uniquely suited to serve the high-performance electric mobility markets, and the company is seeking experience in aviation and automotive alongside battery engineering, process engineering, and corporate roles.

Richard continues, “A lot of our people are working in the battery industry for the very first time. Diverse professional backgrounds help our team incorporate fresh ideas and continuously challenge the status quo.”

Northvolt, Cuberg’s parent company, has enabled this growth through steadfast financial support and by transferring excellence from their own world-beating recruitment program.
